The basic spa treatment is provided 7 days during the week 12 hours daily. Most of the treatments we try to schedule clients on weekdays from 7.30 to 15.00

In the package of comprehensive spa treatment there are 17 procedures ( 6 main procedures and 11 accessory procedures ) plus 1 medical examination a week included. By mutual consent with the spa doctor it is possible to enlarge the number and range of consumed procedures and/or examinations and medical consultations, for an appropriate supplementary charge.

During the client‘s stay it is possible to be provided other procedures of our wide offer of extra treatment. In St. Joseph‘s Spa we focuse not only on wide offer of medicinal and curative treatment, but also on relaxation and aesthetic medicine procedures.

Welcome to the new spa hotel Olympia, located in the heart of the well known spa resort in Karlovy Vary, witch is famous for its hot natural mineral springs.

The hotel building ranks among unique noteworthy houses built at the beginning of the 20th century. In 2002 the house wastotally refurbished and renovated preserving traditional architecture of the „Art nouveau Style“ but ensuring maximum comfort and design for it s guests.

The Hotel Olympia is situated in the heart of the spa resort close to the famous „Geyser“ – the hottest mineral spring – and of other mineral hot springs. Hotel is ideally located with beautiful views of park and forest hills, of the river as well as of the theatre.

Olympia Hotel Spa

The spa hotel specialises in treatment of following diseases:

• diseases of digestive tract – stomach ulcer, duodenum ulcer, diseases of gall bladder, of pancreatic gall and intestines
• metabolic disorders – diabetes, goat, arteriosclerosis, obesity
• diseases of locomotor organs – rheumatism, spinal column and joints problems

At the beginning of the treatment stay the client will be invited for a medical check-in consultation to arrange schedule of treatment, to prescribe the dietary regimen, laboratory analyses, drinking cure and further necessary medical consultations. During the treatment a control medical consultation is recommended to check up effect of treatment. Finally at the end of treatment the client will get a medical report to evaluate the effect of treatment.

The furniture in the rooms to the court made ​​the world famous masters of the Italian company "Scapin". In the rooms with view on the promenade were made the furniture by Czech artist and craftsmen from American cherry.

A BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROCEDURES PROVIDED IN AQUA MARINA:

Perl bath

Indications: Relaxation and soothing effect with neurosis, locomotor system diseases etc.

Indications: The effect depends on the particular bath accessories - mostly on relaxation, improves blood circulation, improve joint mobility.

Group exercise therapy in a swimming pool

Indications: Relaxation, relief of joints, the need for easier exercise methods (usually used after degenerative conditions of the locomotive apparatus).

Pneumopuncture

Indications: Pneumopuncture can be used to treat selected disorders of the locomotor apparatus, leg ischemia, etc.

Oxygen therapy

Indications: The therapy takes a great part in regeneration of all cells of the human organism, especially in the brain. It significantly stabilizes and speeds up thinking and increases the patient’s ability to tolerate physical stress. It has a great influence on the state of mind, on metabolism and it significantly slows down the aging process.

Magnetotherapy

Indications: Conditions affecting the arteries, veins and lymphatic vessels, ischemia, digestive disorders, conditions affecting the locomotive apparatus and degenerative and inflammatory conditions affecting the nervous system.

Laser therapy

Indications: The non-invasive laser is mostly used for its bio-stimulating, analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects. This technique also has anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-edema and vasodilitating effects.

Electrotherapy

Wellness

A very nice complement to medical treatment at the Aqua Marina may be a day-to-day relaxation in the wellness center, which spread in the 2nd floor of our hotel.

There is a Finnish sauna, steam sauna and especially swimming pool (10 x 5 m) - these are the main attractions of the wellness center Aqua Marina, where is also a rest zone.
